I've been using PowerCADD for drafting architectural projects since 1999. Prior to that I was using many different CAD programs to do my drawings. I first began using CAD when I was in high school, mostly doing drawings of machine parts using AutoCAD. I took many courses in AutoCAD through the years while I was studying architecture in school. Since then I have received my Level 2 expert certification from AutoDesk and began teaching myself any CAD programs that I could get my hands on, such as DataCad, IntelliCad, Chief Architect, ArrisCad, ArchiCad, Form Z, and others. All were done on a Windows based system. I never even thought of going to a Macintosh System to do CAD drawings.

Things have changed, I still continue to use many different programs but since joining BMS Architects most of my work is now on a Mac. PowerCADD is the way to go with its fast learning curve, speed and virtually unbeatable stability, great for doing those on-the-fly color presentations.

I'd like to thank the one's who guided me in my learning process of PowerCADD, John Murray, Chip Hemmingway, Herb McKim, and Bruce Bowman, who have set their stamp on my work in more ways than one.
